Italian Strawberry Ice

1 pint fresh strawberries, trimmed
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 cups ice cubes (about 11)
Mint leaves

7 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup cream
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 pound spaghetti, cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces
6 ounces diced salami

Amaretto Coffee

Makes 1 drink

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce amaretto almond liqueur
8 ounces coffee
Whipped cream

Add the amaretto to the hot coffee and serve garnished with a dollop of whipped cream.

Apricots with Amaretto Syrup

Makes 5 servings

Ingredients:

10 ripe apricots, peeled and pitted
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
2/3 cup Amaretto liqueur
Vanilla bean ice cream

Roasted Red Pepper Aioli

1 cup roasted red peppers, drained
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3/4 cup olive oil

Roasted Garlic Aioli

1 garlic bulb
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup marinated artichoke hearts
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Prosciutto-Wrapped Cantaloupe

Ingredients:

6 thin slices prosciutto
18 small wedges (3-inches by 2-inches) of cantaloupe

Macerated Strawberries with Sweetened Mascarpone

Makes 4 servings

2 pounds strawberries, stems removed
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup sweet Marsala wine

For the mascarpone:
1 cup mascarpone cheese
ΒΌ cup brown sugar
